GEN energija is managed by a two-member Management Board consisting of the Chief Executive Officer and the Chief Operating Officer.

MSc Nada Drobne Popović
MSc Nada Drobne Popović has extensive experience in senior management positions. From 2019 to 2023, she served as President of the Management Board of Petrol d.d. Prior to that, she spent two years as Chief Financial Officer at Sij Acroni d.o.o. and three years as a Management Board Member at SDH d.d.
From 1 July 2024, she served as Chief Financial Officer at GEN energija. On 1 December 2025, she assumed the position of Chief Executive Officer of GEN energija, with a term of office running until 1 July 2028.
Chief Operating Officer of GEN energija, d.o.o.
PhD Bruno Glaser
PhD Bruno Glaser holds a doctorate in mechanical engineering and is an expert in a broad range of nuclear technologies, with several decades of experience in the nuclear industry and in project management.
Prior to joining GEN energija, he worked at the Krško Nuclear Power Plant (NPP Krško) from 1993 to 2019, most recently as Head of the Analysis and Licensing Department. At GEN energija, he assumed leadership of the technical division and became Head of the JEK2 project. He is also President of the Slovenian Nuclear Forum.
On 1 July 2024, he began a four-year term as Chief Operating Officer of GEN energija, d.o.o.
