Small Modular Reactors

GEN energija is actively engaged in the assessment of small modular reactor (SMR) technologies, which represent one of the most promising development paths in nuclear energy. By monitoring global trends, analysing technological solutions and assessing their suitability for the future energy system, we are strengthening our understanding of how SMRs could contribute to a reliable, low-carbon and flexible energy supply.

World of Energy Visitor Centre

We believe that knowledge is the foundation of responsible energy development. For this reason, in 2011 we established the World of Energy Visitor Centre at the GEN Information Centre in Vrbina. Through it, we bring energy topics closer to all generations and strengthen understanding of a sustainable, low-carbon future.
